On Thursday 31st May, twenty eight Year 12 students took part in a training day for the Enterprise in Action scheme. The students were learning about the programme so that they could act as assistants when the scheme is delivered to over 200 Year 8 students later this term.
The sixth formers were placed into 5 groups in order to complete their training, with each group forming a business. Products were designed with particular market segments in mind and models of each of the products were made. Each business then had to come up with an idea of how to market their product via a YouTube video.
The students had a great day and are now looking forward to using the skills and knowledge learnt to help the Year 8 students take part in the scheme.
